Bring Your Own Device (BYOx) is an exciting pathway supporting the delivery of 21st century learning.
PARTICIPANTS
In 2023, Bremer SHS will require all Year 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 students, along with Year 9 Science Extension students, to bring a digital device such as a laptop or tablet to school to support their learning. However, all students are able to be part of the program and from 2024 all year levels will require a device. Mobile phones and android devices (including Chrome devices) are not compatible/acceptable.
DEVICE SPECIFICATIONS
In order to provide a consistent experience for students, it is important the device meets the minimum specifications outlined below. This will ensure the device is able to connect to the Bremer State High School network, printing systems, and is suitable for class activities.
Officeworks Ipswich, JB HiFi Ipswich and Ace Computer World have Bremer State High School's minimum and recommended specifications and are happy to assist Bremer families when purchasing devices.
