Student Code of Conduct
The Student Code of Conduct at Bremer State High School outlines the obligations and procedures implemented within our institution to foster a comprehensive and efficient approach to maintaining discipline. Its objective is to encourage exemplary conduct from all members of the school community, emphasizing the primacy of learning and teaching. This creates an environment where every student can achieve success and staff can work in a secure setting.

The Bremer State High School Student Assessment Policy (Years 7, 8 & 9) and Student Assessment Policy (Years 10, 11 & 12) outline the schools' expectations of teachers, students and parents/carers during teaching, learning and assessing.
Gender Diversity Policy
At Bremer State High School, we are dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our Gender Diversity Policy ensures that all students are free from discrimination based on gender identity, expression, or sexuality. This commitment extends to every member of our school community, promoting respect and equality for all.
Student Devices
From 2024 Bremer State High School has two concurrent School Device Programs. In 2024 the Year 7 cohort began the Computers for Students Program (CFS) with future cohorts continuing this program. The remainder of the school participates in the Bring Your Own ‘x’ (BYOx) Program. Information about the CFS and BYOx Program can be found in the School Device Program Handbook.
Temporary Loan Devices
At Bremer State High School, we are committed to enhancing learning experiences by integrating digital technology into the classroom. While we recognise the financial cost associated with supplying a device for the BYOx program, ensuring all students have access to appropriate technology in every class is essential for the program's success. For families requiring temporary support, a school-supplied device may be available to provide time for preparation and acquisition of a personal device for learning.
To request access, please contact your Year Level Dean of Students. You can also view our Temporary Loan Policy for further information.
Mobile Phone and Electronic Devices Policy
In 2023, the Queensland Government announced that from the 2024 school year, mobile phone would need to be 'Away for the Day' across all schools in the state. Please read our Mobile Phone and Electronic Devices Policy, and if your student requires an exemption from this, due to a medical condition or some other reason, you can fill out a Mobile Phone Exemption Application Form, and submit it to your Year Level Dean or Guidance Officer.
