In Year 10, students begin their Senior Education and Training Plan (SET-P)—a vital step in shaping a clear and personalised pathway towards further education, training, or employment.
This plan helps students set goals, make informed decisions, and choose the right subjects for their senior years based on their interests, strengths, and future aspirations.
My Future: Plan with Confidence
We encourage all students, parents, and carers to explore the My Future website—a powerful tool for career exploration and planning.
There’s no need to create an account. Students can simply click ‘Log in’ and follow the prompts using the Queensland education network.
Key features include:
- Surveys to help students uncover their strengths
- Career exploration based on favourite subjects
- Informative videos detailing various careers and entry pathways
There's also a dedicated section for parents and carers, filled with guidance on how to support your child through the decision-making process.
