Bremer State High School is delighted to offer the Bremer Accelerated Music (BAM) Signature Program, a specialised two-year course designed for students proficient in instrumental or vocal performance. This program is perfect for those seeking to extend their creative expression, technical skills, and musical versatility.
Program Overview
Enrol in our comprehensive music extension program, where students receive expert, explicit instruction in music theory, notation, and software, alongside practical activities such as small ensemble and solo playing, composition, improvisation, and music technology exploration.
Signature Learning Experiences
Performance Development: Develop performance skills through regular practice, ensemble and co-curricular participation, and frequent performances, all aimed at fostering confidence and stage presence.
Creative Exploration: Engage in composition and improvisation, exploring various musical styles and techniques to broaden your creative horizons.
Music Technology: Dive into music technology, utilising cutting-edge software and equipment to enhance your musical creations.
Annual Showcase
Each year’s studies culminate in a public performance, representing the musical journey and growth of our students throughout the year. This showcase is an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and confidence developed in the program.
