We have created a learning environment which promotes excellence in academic, sporting, cultural and personal endeavours. We are a well-established large school in the heart of Ipswich and have served the community well for over 50 years. In 2011, we moved to our current site beside the USQ Ipswich Campus. Our students and staff now enjoy a superb educational facility which is truly “state of the art”. We are a full school uniform school and we believe that high expectations of ourselves and our students are critical for a positive learning environment.
This school has a varied and extensive curriculum which caters for the needs of all students no matter what ability or interest. We excel in a range of curriculum areas including science, performing arts, information technology and physical education and many of our subjects have programs which have been recognised state wide as examples of best practice. This quest for excellence is reflected throughout the school.
Our dynamic and committed staff who have always placed the interests of students above all else. We have positive links with the community and believe that productive partnerships are critical for a successful school.
