Sports Awards

 
Bremer sports ‘Black Tie Event’ of the year, recognising the outstanding achievements of students in Sport, both on and off the field.
Pierre De Coubertin Award
The Pierre De Coubertin Award is awarded by the Australian Olympic Council to promote the Olympic ideals throughout the community. The recipient is selected from Year 12 Physical Education students who have best met the representation and participation criteria, and displayed attributes most consistent with the Olympic movement.
State and National Representative Medallions
Students who gain selection in a state or National team in their chosen sport will receive the appropriate medallion. This applies to both School and Club level sports.
Junior and Senior School Sportsman and Sportswoman (Years 7 – 12)
The award winner is considered an exemplary ambassador of the School. Whilst the depth and variety of sports participated in is considered, a focus is also on the level of achievement. In judging the level of achievement, the championship or representative level is considered in combination with the profile of the sport within the community.
Team of The Year (Summer and Winter)
Team of the Year Award is given on an annual basis to the sporting team or partnership considered to have made the most substantative contribution to sport in that year.
Coach of The Year
Celebrating a coach who stands for responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and excellence during CISSSA seasons.
Volunteer of The Year
Celebrating the spirit and practice of volunteerism and honouring the accomplishments of whom encouraged and nurtured our young athletes.
